Film reviw

  1. Hi Ridge,

Good to see the reviews coming through :)

You have picked up on some of the important aspects of the film here, and you are starting to analyse them which is good. What you need to do now is find some quotes from other critics to support your discussion, and then reference them correctly so that your reader is aware that they reading a quote, and can see where it has come from. For example, I believe that this sentence is actually a quote, but without the quote marks , italics and reference, it looks as though it is your own words.

Carol is the personification of sexual mystery - she is what lurks beneath the orgasms of pleasure and pain.

You need to put the quote between ' ' marks, and then you should have referenced it afterwards like this (Morgan, 2014), so it would look like this (only in italics too, but I can't use italics in this comments box!)

'Carol is the personification of sexual mystery - she is what lurks beneath the orgasms of pleasure and pain' (Morgan, 2014)

You are asked to support your discussion with at least 3 quotes...you may well have the quotes in there, but at the moment it is impossible to spot them!
